Overall project cost
The total cost of the RAP-AID project is estimated at CFA 95.7 billion, financed through a public-private mix involving ADC SA, AFD and the Cameroonian State.
Public-private partnership
The public-private partnership brings together the Cameroonian State via ADC SA, the French Development Agency, and international technical partners (APAVE, Bureau Veritas, TPF, Kardham, CHEC, AMPI).
Financing
Financing is secured through the loan agreement signed between ADC S.A and AFD, together with the contribution of the Cameroonian State via State advances (APEC) and ADC S.A's own resources.
Expected economic impact
The project is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment, support the growth of air traffic and strengthen Douala International Airport's position as a leading regional hub, with a positive impact on regional and national economic development.
